There is something really magical about surprise proposals and the moments that follow. So I’m happy that I could be there to capture it!
Ana, Boban and I met up on a cold but sunny December Day at Schönbrunn.
They were both very excited: Boban a bit more because he knew, that on the top of the hill, he was going to ask Ana to marry him…
She of course, didn’t have any idea…
Officially, we were there to have a “couple photo shoot”.
So we walked through the park looking for nice spots to catch tender moments between them.
Every time I have a photo-session at Schönbrunn, I realise how much I love taking pictures there! This park offers such a great variety of locations and atmospheres.
As we strolled through the park, I got to know them a bit more:
They are a very sweet and vibrant couple, both coming from Serbia but born in Austria and have been together for 5 years..
After having found a few nice spots to take pictures, we headed up the hill to the highest point of Schönbrunn, which offers a stunning view of the castle and the symmetrically aligned paths, trees and flowers.
That’s also where Ana’s and Boban’s closest family and friends, together with a couple musicians were hiding, waiting for the big surprise…
When the moment was right, Boban covered Ana’s eyes, everybody gathered around them, the musicians started playing, Boban went down on his knee and when Ana opened her eyes, accompanied by a beautiful melody: he asked her to marry him.
It was such an emotional moment and yes… she said YES 🙂
